The Lepidoptera of Thailand covers two superfamilies - the Papilionoidea (butterflies) and the Hesperiidea (skippers). The Hesperiidae family is further divided into three subfamilies - Coeliadinae (awls), Pyrginae (dawnflies, flats and angles) and Hesperiinae (hoppers, aces and relatives).
